Although initially interested in biophysics and structural biology, Wasif has found that his research background in cell signaling is immensely important in every field of Medicine. He will be a resident in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Hospital and will hope to pursue a career in Gastroenterology. Wasif is an avid biker with frequent rides around New York City and Central Park. He is also confused why he is in New York for so long given his self-declared status as an automotive enthusiast.
