Shella Saint Fleur, Ph.D.

Fellow in Clerkship, Molecular Oncology and Immunology
Pathology Departmental Training Grant
BS Biology, Brooklyn College
Email:
Faculty Mentor: Hodaka Fujii, M.D., Ph.D.

Shella’s interest in Medicine dates back to childhood experiences and wanting to make a difference in the lives of people of the small town in Haiti where she grew up. But it was only after starting college in the U.S. and having experienced the laboratory that she realized she has the mind of a scientist. What better way to combine her two interests than to become a physician-scientist? She is fascinated by the immune system. She also enjoys time with her family and her church community.

Thesis
