Aside from working on mRNA regulation in prokaryotic systems, Sagar is one of the two MD/PhD representatives to the Student Council, a role in which he relays concerns of and initiatives for the MD/PhD student body to the administration. When he’s not doing science, he lets loose with Humerus, the NYU School of Medicine improvisational comedy troupe, which performs shows at the Medical Center as well as in the city.
