Graduate Student, Molecular Oncology and Immunology
BA Economics; BA Biology, University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill
Email:
Faculty Mentor: Iannis Aifantis, Ph.D.

Research is what led me to pursue a career as a physician-scientist, even though I began as an economics major in college. My interests are fairly broad; however, my work experience is primarily in immunology and tumor angiogenesis. In my free time I like to relax, travel and spend time with family and friends.

Thesis

Identifying the role of the gamma-secretase complex and Notch signaling in stem call function and hematopoiesis

Research Interests

Immunology; Angiogenesis; Biomechanics/Biophysics; Cell Biology
