Ever since she read Richard Preston’s The Hot Zone at age 11, Nicole has been fascinated with infectious diseases, especially those of viral origin. So, needless to say, working on HIV in the Landau lab is quite fitting for her. Besides spending time in the lab, Nicole also enjoys running around the city, playing fetch with her cat Kiwi, and watching tons of bad TV.
