My previous experience includes work in Bioinformatics, Neuronal modeling, and Computational Chemistry. I believe in the promise of mathematical modeling as a means of illuminating the logic behind the ways cells and bodies are wired. In particular, I think variation of all sorts, from differentiated genotypes to stochastic biochemical processes leading to differentiated behaviors, are unbelievably cool.
