I have always had a broad interest in science and technology that led to my pursuing engineering and now to medicine and science. I was drawn to biology in particular because of the promise the twenty-first century holds for exciting discoveries. For my thesis I am trying to understand how the location of small gtpases, such as Ras and Rap, affects their abilities to be activated and signal during normal physiologic processes.
Thesis
Characterization of Rap1 and RIAM signaling in T cells
Research Interests
Cell Signaling; Immunology; Cancer Pathogenesis
