Joe has begun his studies in neuroscience investigating the mechanisms and regulatory features of synaptic changes in the CNS, as well as diseases such as ALS that disrupt these activities. Outside of school, Joe is interested in jazz and sports, although he admits to being hopelessly split between the Yankees and the Mets.
