Profiles
Joseph Cichon
Medical Student year 1
B.S. Neuroscience with Honors; M.S. Biology, Pennsylvania State University
Email:
Joe has researched the molecular mechanisms regulating cytoskeletal dysfunction in neurological diseases at Penn State University. He will further his understanding into the brain by investigating the processes that allow us to learn and store memories. Joe is a first year medical student who enjoys cooking, coffee, sports, DJing, and NYC.
Research Interests
Molecular mechanisms regulating actin cytoskeleton; Structural plasticity of dendritic spines; Neurological disorders
