Profiles
Jordan C. Wengrod
Medical Student year 2
B.A. Molecular and Cell Biology, University of California, Berkeley
Email:
While at Berkeley, Jordan developed a fascination in understanding how cancer cells develop and maintain intrinsic microenvironments. Currently, he is interested in studying cellular response to perturbations of such environments. Eventually, Jordan wants to become an oncologist, aspiring that his clinical experience and research may synergize to ultimately help the patient.
Research Interests
Investigating the role of p53 in regulating gene expression by modulation of the nonsense mediated decay (NMD) pathway
