Characterization of the HP1α Gene Promoter Region and Implications for Reduced Expression in Breast Cancer Cells

Research Interests

In Dr. Tanese’s lab I worked on characterizing the expression of HP1α, a gene that has been identified as an invasion suppressor in breast cancer cells.
