Upon entering medical school I decided to study the electrical properties of the nervous system, with the goal of gaining insight into the biological basis of cognition and movement. Having completed my PhD, I recently returned to the wards and am attempting to re-engage clinic medicine. I am still undecided whether I will continue to pursue research or medicine following medical school.

Thesis

Molecular mechanisms of cerebellar Purkinje cell excitability

Research Interests

Organization and activities of neurons that enables the output of the nervous system, particularly movement and cognition
