My research explores how nutrition sensitive pathways control proliferation of the germ line, utilizing the model organism C. elegans. I am particularly interested in the implications of these findings for both fertility and cancer. When I'm not in lab, I enjoy photography, traveling, and the outdoors.
Thesis
The role of nutrition-sensitive pathways, including the insulin and TOR/Rator/S6K pathways, in the control of germline proliferation in the model organism Caenorhabditis elegans
Research Interests
Molecular basis of cancer
