I am most interested in research that examines neural systems in vivo, investigating how different networks of neurons coordinate their functions to produce behaviors. A few related in vivo areas also interest me deeply, such as examining cognitive processes and locating memories. But when I'm not in the lab reading up on science, I like to read magazines online, ride my bicycle in the metropolitan area, listen to music, travel (if I can make it work), and just chill with friends over sports or TV.

Research Interests

Using behavioral deficits to understand neural connectivity, figuring out how neural interactions result in cognition (ideally not through deficits), memory compartmentalization and (gasp!) modification
