Chris is now on his third-year rotations and he is enjoying the constant churn of new colleagues, patients, and knowledge. He hasn't quite figured out what career he will pursue but he hopes to find a niche in infectious disease and host-pathogen interaction. His favorite local hangout is the Waterfront, where you can enjoy any of twenty different beers on tap.
Thesis
Genome-wide Analysis of Transcriptional Termination in Escherichia coli
Research Interests
Many aspects of transcription in E. coli, including termination, Rho factor, transcription kinetics, and the mechanisms of transcript elongation and fidelity by the RNA polymerase
