Chris’ background naturally inclines him to have an interest in the dynamic interactions of macromolecules as explained by biochemical data and computational methods. He enjoys observing how mutations, knock-downs, and knock-outs affect cellular physiology through the perturbation of normal macromolecular interactions and regulated mechanisms. Outside of the lab and classroom, he can often be found plucking guitar strings, capturing photographs, and training for triathlons among other things.
Research Interests
Understanding the role and characterization of an activating, rather than the classically corepressive, Sin3 complex
